Hilltopper Infield Mix & Warning Track Mix
Burma Red Hilltopper Infield Mix: Why wait two days to play on your field after a storm? Play the minute the storm is over; play during the storm if you want to. Our Burma Red Granite Hilltopper Infield Mix is made from our Standard Burma Red Infield Mix, but also has the cutting edge technology of a water shedding polymer coating developed by Stabilizer Solutions. This creates a field that is waterless, dustless, and completely free of mud, allowing you to play more while saving hours in maintenance and watering. Hilltopper infields are so unique you have to see it to believe it. See the water bead up on the surface. Watch the home team’s confidence in their fielding ability. Burma Red Hilltopper Warning Track Mix: The warning track is an important surface on the field, actually warning players of impending danger. If the warning track is so important, why do we spend so little time building and maintaining it? You can be sure of your players’ safety without time consuming maintenance. Burma Red Hilltopper Warning Track Mix is enhanced with polymer. The polymer binds the stone particles together, keeping it stable. When running full speed after a line drive, your players won’t have to worry about loose footing—just the wall. Burma Red Hilltopper Warning Track Mix is slightly coarser than the infield mix, giving your players the familiar “crunch” under foot that they expect when approaching the wall. Your players won’t have to worry about sinking into mud either—again, just the wall. The polymer provides protection from the elements: rain, snow, and drought. Protection from drought means you won’t ever have to water your warning track again. Also, your fans will thank you, as you can drive your maintenance vehicles on and off the fields without covering the bleaches in dust. You can see Burma Red Hilltopper Warning Track Mix in action at Yankee Stadium, home of the New York Yankees.
Hilltopper Mound Clay: Why do more work? Hilltopper Mound Clay’s polymer coating gets the job done in those high traffic areas in half of the time. No water or screening is needed. Hilltopper Mound Clay keeps its consistency with the big leaguers on the mound, and also saves time and money for the little leagues.

What’s the difference between Hilltopper infield mix, warning track mix and mound clay?
Kafka offers Burma Red Hilltopper Infield Mix, Burma Red Hilltopper Warning Track Mix and Hilltopper Mound Clay. While the differences are subtle for each, they get the job done in the best way possible.
Burma Red Hilltopper Infield Mix is a derivative of our standard infield mix: It’s made of decomposed granite crushed to the perfect size to provide stable footing and consistent ball hops and sliding for player perfection and audience enjoyment. Our Hilltopper Infield Mix, however, includes a coating of cutting-edge polymer that instantly sheds water.
Our Burma Red Warning Track mix is the same premium duo of decomposed granite and polymer as the infield mix, but the granite is crushed to a slightly larger size. The slightly coarser size of the warning track mix provides players with a good “crunch” under foot to warn them of the impending wall around the field’s perimeter. There’s no more need to worry about loose footing, just the wall.
Kafka’s Hilltopper Mound Clay serves a different purpose altogether. The addition of water-shedding polymer to our mound clay makes it virtually maintenance-free—no watering or screening is needed. Save time and money in both the big leagues and the little leagues with this innovative mound solution.
Where would I use Hilltopper mixes?
