Most commonly used on bridge decks, curves, and exit/entrance ramps for increased skid resistance. Kafka’s high-friction surfacing aggregate is a crushed, angular granite that can be manufactured to meet Department of Transportation specifications, which is generally 3/16” x 1/16″ or 1/8″ x 18 mesh for vehicular applications. The aggregate is dried for use with various epoxies, and available in bulk or bagged in super sacks for easy handling on the job site.
Stone is a natural material and slight color variations may occur. Product is photographed wet to better show color. We encourage you to request complimentary samples before ordering. Granite, marble, and quartz are general classifications. If specific chemical make-up is important, please speak with a sales representative about aggregate testing.
