Infield Mix
Kafka Granite Infield Mix provides a firm, resilient playing surface
and like our Track & Trail materials has virtually no mud
or dust. It has good water bearing capacity and load bearing strength,
retains flexibility, cushion and reduces wind and water erosion.
Our mixes have excellent drainage qualities resulting in near
immediate play after rainfall, less cancellations and less man-hours
spent on maintenance and preparation. This mix is available in
two variations;
Ruby Red Granite and Burma Red Granite. One ton covers 60 sq ft
at a 3 inch depth.
Hilltopper™ “Waterless & Dustless” Infield
Mix
Hilltopper Infield Mix is made from our Standard Burma Red Granite
Infield Mix coated with a polymer to add cohesion and waterproof
each particle creating a non-permeable surface. Hilltopper controls
wind and water erosion and remains stable in rainy conditions.
Hilltopper does not require any supplemental watering! One ton
covers 130 sq ft at a 2 inch depth. The sub-base should be compacted
and laser graded to surface drain. Periodic nail dragging is necessary
to produce desired cushion.
Stabilized Infield Mix
Stabilizer is water activated. It binds water and soil particles
together to increase cohesion and resiliency to the playing surface
while maintaining permeability. Stabilized Infield Mix comes pre-blended
with Stabilizer and is available in Burma Red Granite and Ruby
Red Granite colors. One ton covers 60 sq ft at a 3 inch depth.
Hilltopper™ Mound and Homeplate Clay
A Waterless & Dustless polymer-coated product. The polymer
coating gives the clay a natural long lasting cohesion that does
not require water for activation. Hilltopper is packaged in 50-lb
bags and can be used for complete mound construction or used for
renovation.
